Japanese Kutani Ware Large Porcelain Bowl.

Another piece from the Estate of an avid collector.

An exquisite piece of Japanese artwork. This bowl is painted with indigo, green, purple, yellow and red with an enameled over glaze. The scenes depict flowers, birds and lifestyle surrounded by amazing geometric patterns done with delicate brush strokes.

The footed rimmed bowl measures 4 4/8” tall with a 10 1/4” diameter.

There is a small flea bite measuring approximately 1/8”. There is also, what appears to be, a repair of a small chip in the yellow portion measuring approximately 1/4”. I would have missed it if I hadn’t run my finger along the rim. Fuku mark on the bottom.
