Some of these Satco black lamp extenders were used as a theatrical carnival trick in multiple window displays for a Kate Spade Saturday summer window shopping experience. They were used for 1 month, then uninstalled. They had 25 watt globe lamps in them and they were used about 12 hours a day for a few minutes at a time only as customers shopped the window. These are Medium (E26) To Medium (E26) screw base and screw into another screw base. They were used to add globe lamps through a 1/4 ply wall to a string light base. The carpenters painted most of the used ones, but there are some new unpainted ones in the lot. They used a cheap matte white wall paint that should be easy to remove.
