Various parts have a highly dust-proof and drip-proof structure that can be used in the harsh shooting conditions of professionals to prevent the intrusion of dust and water droplets.
■ Fluorine coating
A new coating technology developed for the purpose of easily removing dirt adhering to the lens surface. That is the fluorine coating. It has high oil repellency and water repellency and can be removed with a dry cloth without using a solvent. Another feature is that it does not easily get static electricity after wiping with a dry cloth, and it does not attract dust. It has a smooth surface, is not easily scratched, and is resistant to water droplets.
