They are 12-volt DC bulbs and can operate from 10 volts to 16 volts. They are non-polarity so there's no modification, plug-and-play. They do not get hot like incandescent bulbs, will NOT burn your lens if left on too long, use less watts (2 watt each), last longer (about 20,000 hours of life), and are brighter than your old bulbs.
The light from these bulbs are a natural white light (6000k, see the pictures).
Please note: light bulbs are a part of an electrical system in a machine. For bulbs to function properly components such as electrical system, stator, voltage regulator / inverter, and light bulb sockets need to be fully functional. Common malfunctions are: Loose ground wire, dead battery, poor contact between the bulb and light socket, and malfunctioning voltage inverter which would cause high DC voltage or AC voltage getting into the wiring harness and blowing bulbs instantly.
