The blue is a true royal blue, the lighting may show different shades, but the colors are silvery white and royal blue.
The inspiration for the robe is Mr. Rochester in any version of Jane Eyre, when the person the audience thinks is Grace Poole has set fire to the place. I saw that movie a long time ago, and the image of that luxurious robe stayed with me. Every man doll deserves a little luxury.
