George Herman Babe Ruth 1983 First Day Cover FDC, celebrating Babe Ruth "The Sultan of Swat" "The Bambino". Stamped July 6, 1983. Mr. Ruth played for the New York Yankees from 1920 - 1934. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1936. The corners are very slightly rounded, writing in pencil on the front, and a few very slight marks on the back of the envelope. Excellent condition. This would be a unique and great addition to any collection!
