This is a rare radio transcription disc that was issued to radio stations for broadcast only to promote the movie "Spellbound" by Alfred Hitchcock.  This disc was issued to radio stations for broadcast only and not available to the general public.  It was most likely intended to be destroyed after the promotional broadcasting period ended

This disc contains 13 1/2 minutes of excerpts from the musical score of the movie "Spellbound".   Music is by The Selznick Recording Orchestra conducted by Dr. Miklos Rozsa.  There is no dialogue or announcements on the disc.  Disc is from 1945

This is a rare piece of Alfred Hitchcock memorabilia, much more rare than a lobby card or movie poster

Disc is 16 inches in diameter and 33 1/3 rpm
