Welcome to the auction of a PANDORA'S BOX Italian commercial poster from the 1980's which features Peron art of a sexy Louise Brooks. It is a unfolded Italian poster made to be sold directly to the public and measures 27" x 37 1/2" [69 x 95 cm]). THE TOP PHOTO IS A SCAN OF THE POSTER , AND THE BOTTOM PHOTO IS A DIGITAL PHOTO I TOOK IN THE BRIGHT SUN . In Germany the film is called Die Buchse der Pandora (Lulu) and was released in the U.S. as "Pandora's Box" . The 1929 Georg Wilhelm Pabst directed German silent tragic romantic melodrama (a story about an innocent yet hedonistic dancer and prostitute who dooms every man who encounters her . The movie that launched Louise Brooks into international stardom) . The film stars Louise Brooks, Fritz Kortner, Francis Lederer, Carl Goetz, and Krafft-Raschig. Louise Brooks turned her back on Hollywood in 1929, and went to Europe and made some memorable films, most notably this film. In the early 1930s she attempted to return to Hollywood (minus her trademark flapper hairdo), but met with little success. EBAY now requires all order checkout's be performed on Ebay only - so if your buying multiple posters or item's and they can be shipped together EBAY DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY COMBINE THEM in the checkout - I suggest just allowing me a day to adjust the shipping charges to reflect the combining shipping discounts - sadly Ebay's checkout doesn't caculate combined shipping discounts like my vendio account did just fine - so you must wait to pay until I have a chance to do this manually on your invoice before you pay if your ordering multiple posters.
