In the early 1900's, companies that produced photographic postcards also produced pictorial books made up of the images from their postcards. The images inside were almost always in black and white, but the covers of the books were fantastic illustrations depicting the scenes and atmosphere of the city. This one (for New York City) is a beautiful and colorful cover from 1925 that features a photograph of the Statue of Liberty surrounded by hand-drawn illustration. It was published by the Manhattan Post Card Company. A stunning addition to any room!
