When fitting LED bulbs you may find that there is a bulb failure error light on the dashboard, also in the case of indicator bulbs they may flash much faster than the originals. Load resistors fitted in line with the positive wire behind the appropriate lamps will both cure these problems (2 pairs will be needed for stop & tail bulbs.) A On most vehicles the LED bulbs with a built in resistor is adequate to stop the dashboard bulb failure light but on some vehicle models “Strong Canbus” is needed in these instances our additional in-line load resistors will stop the problem

Q Do load resistors get hot when in use
A Load resistors can get around as hot as the original bulb so each one has a mounting point. You can screw it down away from other loose wires should you need to.
