C. Benolt was a 20th century artist often identified as a Florida artist but he produced a body work which included European landmarks, Southwestern pottery art as well as these tropical reef scenes. He is known for raised and textured, realistic, 3-D oils on canvas which is what we have here. 

Frame measures approx. 13" by 15". Stretched canvas measures 8" by 10". With the artist's original frame and liner.
