The image The Baker on this tile comes from an engraving / etching made in the 17th century by the Dutch poet, painter and etcher Jan Luyken (Johannes Luiken). In the book "Het Menselyk Bedryf" (1694), Jan Luyken describes and shows with the help of prints the various crafts during the Golden Age in Amsterdam.
These tiles were produced in a limited number and were not available for sale on the market. Offered by superior product for the bakery brinkero
The tiles are numbered 1 to 6 with hanging mount hoops and description on the backs
