Engine 6208381, type 911/04, a 1970 911E 2.2 liter engine, complete as shown in the photos. All associated engine parts shown are included and were from this engine except the oil tank, which is 1969. Has been stored since at least 2006, when I purchased it along with the crash damaged car it had been installed in. The car was sold long ago, and the engine has been awaiting a new project. The engine last ran in 2005 according to the previous owner. I have a compression test from 11/95 showing 165-180 psi. The clutch assembly was new 11/93. The muffler is S/S. Hydraulic Carrera tensioners are installed. The air cleaner snorkel is missing. The F.I. pump belt is in place but needs to be replaced. There is a dent in one header pipe from the accident. The engine has not been started, but turns by hand. The F.I. pump is free, as are the throttles. It is safe to assume a refresh (rebuild ?) is in order, or at least, a thorough visual inspection to prevent damage if a start is attempted. It has always been stored inside. Inspection prior to bidding in recommended, by a appointment.
