This listing is for One 2013 Goodwin Champions #133 John Brzenk Rookie Card.

This card is a great opportunity to own a piece of Sports History as the first ever printed card of Professional Arm Wrestling Legend and undisputed Greatest Of All Time, John Brzenk.

Professional Arm Wrestling is relatively young as a professional sport and has seen exponential popularity growth in recent years. Capturing hundreds of millions of Youtube views thanks to popular Youtube channels such as Armwrestling TV (Schoolboy) and Devon Larratt.

Modern Professional Arm Wrestling began as a bar room sport in Petaluma California in 1952 and gained modest popularity from 1969 to 1984 while ABC broadcasted segments from the World Wristwrestling Championships as part of their "Wide World of Sports" series.

Pro Arm Wrestling had it's first major boom in popularity during the release of the 1987 Sylvester Stallone Cult Hit "Over The Top", which features Stallone as a truck-driving competitive Arm Wrestler trying to win the respect of his son by becoming the World Champion. The film didn't fare well in the states at the time but was a hit in many foreign countries. The worldwide popularity of the film lead to many countries forming their own Professional Arm Wrestling Leagues.

The sport is now practiced in at least 80 countries world wide and has grown tremendously in recent years. In the last decade alone the sport has seen the release of a documentary on Netflix "Pulling John" (based on the storied career of John Brzenk), a reality show "Game of Arms" aired on AMC, multiple World Championships aired on ESPN and has become one of the fastest growing sports on Youtube in terms of view count.

As the popularity of the sport continues to grow the demand for memorabilia will likely increase. With limited amounts of memorabilia currently available in the sport, the first ever printed card of Arm Wrestling G.O.A.T. John Brzenk makes a great collectors item for fans.
