Lenses with a landing thread M42 (M42 X 1 / 45.5), such as the lens from this review, it is very easy to use on almost any modern digital cameras (both SLR and mirrorless), for this it is enough to choose the right adapter (adapter). The cheapest adapters can be found on aliexpress.com. Adapters (adapters) with a chip provide more convenience during shooting, usually the chips serve to confirm focus and / or metering.
For SLR cameras
CANON: For Canon EOS cameras with an EF / EF-S mount, you need an M42-Canon EOS adapter.
NIKON: For Nikon DX / FX cameras, as well as for Fujifilm and Kodak cameras with Nikon F bayonet, you need an M42-Nikon F adapter.
PENTAX: For Pentax cameras with a bayonet K, an M42-Pentax K adapter is needed.
SONY / MINOLTA: For cameras with Sony / Minolta A bayonet, an M42-Sony A adapter is needed.
OLYMPUS / PANASONIC: For cameras with a 4/3 bayonet, an M42-4 / 3 adapter is needed.
For mirrorless cameras
SONY: For cameras with the 'E' bayonet of the Sony NEX and Sony Alpha, an M42-Sony E adapter (aka M42-Sonye Nex) is needed. For these cameras is also available autofocus adapter Techart PRO Leica M - Sony E Autofocus Adapter.
OLYMPUS / PANASONIC / KODAK / XIAOMI: For cameras with Micro 4/3 bayonet (Micro 4: 3), you need the M42-Micro 4/3 adapter.
CANON: For cameras with a Canon EF-M bayonet, an M42-Canon M adapter is needed.
NIKON 1: For Nikon 1 series cameras, you need the M42-Nikon 1 adapter.
FUJIFILM: For cameras with a X bayonet, an M42-Fuji X adapter is needed.
SAMSUNG: For cameras with a NX mount, you need an M42-Samsung NX adapter.
PENTAX: For cameras with a Q bayonet, an M42-Pentax Q adapter is needed. For the camera NX mini adapters do not exist yet.
LEICA: For cameras with a Leica M bayonet, an M42-L / M adapter is needed. For the Leica T bayonet, an M42-L / T adapter is available.
