You don't have to redo a drawing: everyone knows that the famous Volkswagen, the people's car of the German government, was developed by Ferdinand Porsche. An engineering model which however will not see mass production during the war. Only 630 "KdF-Wagen" were produced in 1938. The wind in the sails of the Ladybug comes with British tutelage. After the war, the Allied forces repackaged the Wolfsburg arms plant into an automobile assembly unit. It was, at the time, a good solution to give work to the Germans and put the country afloat. From Type 1 to Ladybug It was then that on December 27, 1945, the Wolfsburg plant began production of the Type 1, based on Mr. Porsche's designs.
