Japanese-to-English Translation Meme Button
A 1.25” button with the polite reminder: Panic Carefully.
The original source of the Panic Carefully meme is a picture of a red heavy door, possibly an exit from a large building. There is a sign on the door, in Japanese. Under those characters is the English translation: Panic Carefully.
A more literal translation might be something along the lines of Avoid Panicking or Don’t Panic – but what fun is that?
Inaccurate translations of this sort are sometimes referred to as Engrish.
Not to be confused with “Keep Calm and Carry On,” although the sentiment is similar.
Wear this button when Godzilla makes landfall, when the phone calls are definitely coming from inside the house, or when going on a job interview.
