The toilet features a standard waste spigot with a centre that is 180mm from the floor; this allows any standard pan connector type (not supplied) to be used. Once assembled there will be standard 1/2" BSP threads for the hot and cold supplies; we recommend using isolation valves (not supplied) between the toilet and supply pipes for easy servicing.
Installation notes:
Please unpack and check all components for any signs of transit damage within 48 hours of delivery and prior to commencing any installation. The DBM Duo combination toilet is mostly assembled and installed in the same manner as any other close-coupled toilet. However, unlike a standard close-coupled toilet there are two inlet holes; one is for the incoming hot water supply and the other is for the incoming cold water supply. The cold supply should be connected to the fill valve in the same manner as a standard toilet; there is a "tee" at the base of the fill valve to connect the cold monobloc connector to the tap. The straight-through connector is for the other hole - the hot monobloc tap connector should be connected to the tap via the straight-through connector.
IMPORTANT: Do not apply any lateral/sideways force to the fill valve during installation; doing so may cause it to snap. We advise you check the position and function of the fill valve before fitting the flush valve. Ensure there is sufficient access for the monobloc tap connectors and the float on the fill valve can rise and fall freely without obstruction. Once these checks have been made install the flush valve via the bayonet fitting.
The dual-flush button can be fitted semi-flush or protruding (pictured protruding). For a semi-flush fitting simply remove the button plate from the collar prior to installation (dual-flush operation is not affected).
