Compatibility
The actuator clip is only suitable for the MacBook Pro Retina models between Late-2016 to 2021. You can check if you have this model by looking on the underside of your laptop at the model number. Alternatively, you can see the year your MacBook Pro was manufactured by visiting Apple Menu (?) > About This Mac.
