M. A. Hadley is a well-known pottery manufacturer based in Louisville, Kentucky, with a long history of making heavier renditions of a variety of pottery items with often-limited designs, many of which are no longer manufactured, thus giving the pieces more character and lasting interest--especially for those seeking to expand sets or replace missing items that may have been lost or broken over the years. Hadley pottery is not mass-produced so there may be slight differnces among the pieces, dating from their original production.

Here is an opportunity to acquire a vintage cream and sugar bowl set with wife and cow designs. Background is the white of the pieces. This set is lightly used. There is a small chip on the rim of the sugar bowl, unseen when the lid is on. Sugar bowl lid has small imperfection on inner surface which appears to be original when made.

Creamer bowl is 2 1/2 inches in diameter. With handle overall length is 4 1/2 inches.
Sugar bowl is 3" wide and 3 1/2 inches tall with lid on.

The set is of heavy pottery and the two pieces together weigh 1 1/2 pounds.

Each piece is inscribed on the bottoms with the maker's name M. A. Hadley.

Ships to U.S. addresses only.
