ABOUT Nashiji
The name of the lacquer technique. Also written as Nashiji.
A technique in which lacquer is applied to the surface of the vessel, powder such as gold, silver, and tin is sown,
and transparent lacquer is applied on top of it to remove the powder to the extent that it is not exposed.
The name comes from the fact that it resembles pear skin, and it began in the Kamakura period.
It has been repaired, but there is a crack in the bottom of the box
