Assigned to track a vicious serial killer, they wind their way through the brutal underworld of gangsters, call girls and sleazy characters who uncover new evidence for them. When a powerful drug lord is gunned down in his palatial mansion, they are also assigned to find his maniac killer. The danger becomes almost unsurmountable as they attack every clue which leads them closer to the killer.
