Nice condition for its age, see photos. Metal banding has some corrosion in a few places. Some spot staining on the lid. Dent in metal covering on lid.

Circa late 19th century to about 1940. After that the metal banding work was no longer done.

Stands about 9 1/2 inches tall to top of lid.

Heavy ceramic.
