The rattlesnake fishing rod is the most popular fishing rod that I make. There are two fishing rods in the pictures. I laminate rattlesnake skin directly to the blank and then create a diamond wrap layer above it also made with rattlesnake skin. The grip is absolutely beautiful and will not slip out of your hands. This is an extremely labor intensive fishing rod to build. You may have rattlesnake skin wrapped aroung the fishing rod from tip to grip for an additional charge. Rattlesnake skin is really expensive. It is also extremely difficult to laminate a diamondback rattlesnake from butt to tip. I have the knowledge and know how to do it.
I am extremely well known and have made hundreds of custom rods in the past. Demand is high for the fishing rods that I build. The fishing rods I build are built custom our customer's specifications.
These fishing rods are meant to be fished with. Unfortunately many of the fishing rods I have build in the past are hanging up on customer's walls and are kept as trophies. Do not worry. Use the fishing rod. Scratch it up all you need to. I can restore any fishing rod to brand new at any later date assuming the rod is not broken or damaged in any other way.
The fishing rod in the picture is made with Real Rattlesnake Skin Grips. These Grips are totally awesome. I have alligator skin, stingray skin, shark skin, cow leather, ostrich skin, cobra skin, crocodile skin and a whole plethora of materials available to me to make your grips. I have the experience to make them.
The Blank used for the fishing rod in the picture is a North Fork Composite Blank made by Gary Loomis. I believe that these are the best blanks available for these rods. However, I will build with any blank you like. If the blank you choose a blank that is more expensive, you have to pay the difference in the cost.
The reel seats and butt caps are all part of the machined aluminum reel seats made by ALPS. You may have any style real seat that you like. These reals seats are absolutely solid and I have never had one fail.
The transitions are custom built and can be made to your exact specification for color and design. You may have the rod built with or without a head and with or without fangs.
The length of the front and rear grip will be made for you and however you like it. You may have any design that you like.
The guides are the extremely high quality Fuji Ring Guides. I have never had or seen one of these guides fail.
