This is a vintage Towle sterling silver, hollow handled butter spreader in the Old Colonial pattern. The piece is 5 7/8 inches long and has a stainless steel blade. I have several other pieces from this pattern, so please check out my other items.

The piece is in estate condition with some small surface scratches and / or blemishes consistent with vintage sterling silver flatware and there are no monograms.
