HERCULES 3m GEODESIC DOME

Our Hercules Geodesic domes are truly the best available by far, and are far more superior compared to the cheaper plastic frame domes or cheap inferior steel models commonly listed on other online sites.

Due to the heavy duty construction of our domes, the expected life of the Hercules igloo is around 10 years of looked after properly and securely anchored down. The igloo is designed to stay up all year round no matter the weather, unlike gazebos which need taking down in adverse weather conditions.

Based on the iron triangle effect, the spherical tent is a stable and high compression spacefacility. The overall structure has reasonable stress, high rigidity and stability. It can resist level 10 winds  (100kmph) and a snow load of 70kg per Sqm, which brings a relatively stable security for the outdoor use of our spherical tent.

Hercules dome structure consists of seamless steel tubes used to enclose space. The dome design is in conjunction with the geodesic design, which creates an amazingly strong structure using a minimal amount of material.

Please note as shown in our grey igloo, the cover has some creases which will fall out after a day or 2 of warm weather. We also had not tied the cover to the frame with the nylon ropes provided as we simply erected for taking some photos. Once tied the cover fits taut and snug
