Up for auction is a Snowbabies porcelain Christmas Tree Ornament titled: "Baby's First Rattle".  The cute ornament features the head of a Snowbaby Angel set at the top of a functional baby rattle (although clearly not meant to be given to a child).  The ball section of the rattle has cut out stars, and spins around.  The entire piece measures approximately 5 inches in length, not counting the ribbon.  It was made for Department 56, of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, in 1996, and is now retired. 

The Snowbabies ornament is in near mint condition, with no cracks, chips, scratches, repairs, stains, discoloration, nor any other damage that I can detect.  However, it does not have it's original box.
