This is truly a wonderful doll that you are going to lust after!  A French Fashion doll, she came to us with a number of problems, which is why her lovely leather body is patched at the very top.  Her teeth were cracked and it was very noticeable, so-o-o we ordered in new porcelain teeth.  Should be good to go, right?  Nope.  Her fixed eyes were in the way; it was a huge chunk of plaster in the middle of her head, and no way to work around it.  So, we were able to soak this loose, but this is a small space and unfortunately, neither of us are blessed with delicate hands.  Next the head needed to come off.  This was where the problem came in.  Usually heads pop off with no great problem.  Not this time.  This one came off with most off the upper part of the body.  This, the body was repaired with the same kind of kid leather that was originally used in making this French Fashion body.  The porcelain teeth were replaced, as were the original blue glass paperweight eyes re-secured.  As with all our doll heads, we pack them whether they have sleepy eyes or not, so they will be safe during shipping.  This doll also has a dark brown mohair wig from Dollspart Supply that falls below her shoulders in soft curls from a very becoming braid at the top of her head.and curly bangs on her forehead.  Her skin is wonderfully colored with lovely blush to her cheeks and lips.  Her eyes are very bright blue especially with the blue silk dress being nearly the same color.  The dress has a raised waistline with the yoke decorated with white silk flowers and a white ribbon tie going through the middle to tie in a big bow in the back.  Delicate lace trims the neckline, cuffs, and hem of the dress.  In her hair, a square of blue silk to match the dress, edge with lace and clustered with white silk flowers and pearls is pinned to her head.  She is a gorgeous French Fashion Doll and at 12 inches, the perfect size for cabinet or self.
