Description

This is a fantastic New England old painted antique wooden firkin sugar bucket with lid & swinging handle. It has been painted black over an original green with scattered worn fruit stenciling. The aged paint shows alligatoring, crusty, crackling scattered throughout.

It measures approximately 10 inches height with handle down & 13 3/4 inches with handle up by 10 inches across base by 8 1/4 inches inside opening by 9 1/2 inches outside cover diameter.

The bucket is in wonderful antique condition with great honest wear, old crusty alligatored paint & usage marks. Three old nail pops on top of lid. Inside of bucket has three mounting blocks of wood attached to side wall, originally 4 but one is missing.

Great primitive look & would be fabulous as part of a stack! Please see pictures for more description.
