Materials required to make an elephant like the one shown:- 


3mm dense mohair – approx. 10” x 8”
Cotton paw pad & inner ear fabric – approx. 4” square
3 pairs of 12mm cotter pin joints (6 boards, 6 washers, 3 pins)
2 pairs of 15mm cotter pin joints (4 boards, 4 washers, 2 pins)
1 pair of 4mm glass eyes
Polyfibre filling – about 20g, but quantity will depend on type used
Chenille stem pipe cleaner – about 6”
Sewing thread & strong thread to insert eyes
Embroidery thread for flowers – purple, green, pink
A length of ribbon for around the neck – approximately 13”

Tools needed:-

Sewing needles – standard & long, & pins
Fray check
Tweezers – to make stuffing easier
Scissors
Thin card & permanent fine liner pen
Pliers or a cotter pin key
