The Pure Stock body is, a low-profile body, 1/4" thick, Stock 4 3/8 wheelbase designed for speed.

All of our bodies are cut by a multiple time and current World Champion Pinewood Derby Racer and meet the same quality standards as all of his professional league cars.

This body meets the strict Stock out of the box BSA wheelbase requirements and come as you see in the picture, with the weight pocket and balsa insert already glued in.

Vinyl Skins are extremely lightweight and have a strong adhesive to ensure they stay put.

• Handle and assemble with care, these bodies are very sturdy for ultra-light bodies, but can break if not handled and assembled with care.
• Body width sized to fit snug in most drill jigs. If the car is loose in your jig, put tape on the side of the car. If the car is too tight sand down the sides for a snug fit, you do not want to force the wood into the jig.

Have Castoro Racing drill your axle holes for you, using the same tools and techniques that had led to dozens of Professional League wins and Multiple World Championships.

Drilled 3 Wheel Canted w/ Easy Steer:

The Easy Steer will steer the car into the rail at a rate of 3-4 inches over 4ft. No Bent axles needed, super easy plug and play option. Rear wheels are drilled canted. Rear alignment is verified using the same techniques as Castoro Racing’s World Championship cars. Requires the use of all straight axles.

Drilled 3 Wheel Canted:

Front wheels are drill straight and slightly higher than rears. Rear alignment is verified using the same techniques as Castoro Racing’s World Championship cars. Requires the use of bent axle for your steer (DFW) wheel and straight axles in the rear.

Pre-weighted: Optimized placement of approximately 4 OZ (24) Tungsten ¼” cubes. Cubes are placed into with double sided tape to ensure a strong hold, but yet removal. Weight placement is optimized and cubes should not be re-arranged once received. Tungsten putty or other material should be used to bring your car to its final 5.0 OZ weight.
