Being offered is a extraordinarily fine circa 1860 coin silver card case by Gorham, of Providence, RI, each side superbly hand engraved, brightcut and engine turned in an elaborate motif.  Weight shy of 2 ozs. Dimensions 3 1/2 inches long by 2 1/2 inches wide by 3/8 inches high.  Engraved 'LFK' (? very elaborate) monogram in cartouche.  Marked as illustrated.   In excellent, if not mint condition.  The case is perfect for business cards or for a lady's use who wishes to place a credit card(s) and a few monetary bills.
