Flemish bow strings are for a recurve or longbow. Made from BCY Fibers B-55 string material I use is made from 100% polyester also known as Dacron.

Information needed to make the bow string

Send me a message through eBay. Let me know if your bow is a recurve or longbow, the pull weight of your bow, actual string length and A.M.O. I make up to 72" A.M.O.  If you don't know the length of your bow here is The best way to get a measurement from a bow is to use a seamstress tape, if you have one. Here is how to measure the bow from string groove to string groove measure the belly of the bow keeping the tape against the bow following the curves in the limbs. You don’t have to go down into the grip in the riser.

String tags

String tags are common with Flemish strings which are small piece of string material that can appear in the taper section below both loops. I try to snip all of them off but might miss a few. If they happen to appear you can snip them off with finger nail clipper or wax them down.
