REFINISHED GOLF BALLS
Refinished Golf Balls are simply a way to describe a unique reconditioning process to bring certain used and recycled golf balls up to a level where they appear and behave in our opinion, just like new golf balls.
WHAT IS THE REFINISHING PROCESS?
The refinishing process uses state of the art equipment designed to safely chemically clean the golf balls, have all the markings, discolouration, and staining removed from them using a chemical remover, and the surface of the ball itself is then professionally “roughed”. This involves a mechanical process that strips a small amount of the outer layer of the golf ball off, exposing a new layer of surface in the cover. They are then quality checked and all balls that are at all damaged are discarded from the supply chain, leaving you with only the top grade of refinished golf ball
The ball is then primed again as would have been during its original manufacture, giving it a shiny smooth surface. It is then re-printed with the manufacturer’s markings – both brand name and model – and finally, a protective sheen is glossed over the top of the ball
WILL REFINISHED GOLF BALLS AFFECT THE PLAYABILITY?
Refinished golf balls, in our opinion behave just like new golf balls, nothing has been done to the golf ball to hamper its performance the only real difference you will see is the price!
