The ECCO electric fuel pump is a direct replacement for the SU pump. It is made from mostly plastic materials with the main coil housing assembly being made from Glass Reinforced Poly. There is a decades old, lingering misconception that the plastic will crack at the banjo. Rest assured, this is not the case with the modern pump. The ECCO pump is hand built, and the quality of the end product is heavily scrutinized during production. This pump will operate trouble free for years to come.
