Description
Wonderful old New England signed Daniel Cragin grain measure. Has fabulous old red worn paint throughout. It is stamped on inside bottom base, although this measure has been used as intended and therefore the stamping is worn. Original stamping would've been "Daniel Cragin Manufacturer & Sealer Wilton NH".
It measures approximately 11 1/2 inches diameter by 6 1/4 inches height.
It is in nice antique condition. Has lots of wear to paint, wear marks throughout, some scattered small nail holes on side wall near nailed seam unsure of purpose, mini lifting of grain on upper edge in one spot. Please see pictures for more details.
