This is a complete installation kit for replacement controls for AR's AR-3a speaker.  One kit is sufficient for one cabinet.   You will pay your bid price times the number of kits you select.

• Original controls have not been available for many years.
• No need of soldering inside the cabinet.
  
• The kit includes 2 controls with the correct color coded connecting wires already attached, wire nuts to make the necessary connections, wire ties to neaten the installation, color photo illustration instructions and a detailed set of instructions for removal of the front grille.
  
•  Superior to the original control. It is heavy duty, has finer turns for better set-ability, is ventilated for heat removal and has excellent contact life.
  
• The only tools required are a pair of pliers, wire cutting pliers and preferably, wire strippers. As there is no soldering required, this kit will greatly simplify and speed up the installation.

We strongly suggest that you order one or two packages of AR cabinet sealer with this kit. The sealer may be found in department OTHER SPEAKER SERVICE PARTS.   AR Acoustic Suspension speakers rely on a well sealed cabinet for reproduction of those low bass notes. Don't try and reuse the old, hard sealer. It's Penny Wise, Pound Foolish. The original AR control knob found on the AR-3a and AR-5 is an exact fit and we have these in stock, likewise in the Dept. OTHER SPEAKER SERVICE PARTS,  if you would like to add them for a nice finishing touch. If you are suspicious of your crossover capacitors, this might be a good time to replace them, we have them in stock in Dept. SPEAKER CROSSOVER CAPACITORS. They are surely out of spec. if you can tell, depends on how critical you are of your music.
