Giant Mammoth" grows 2.5 - 3 meters tall with flower heads 25-40cm wide. In a garden, plant them on the north side where they won't cast shadows over shorter crops that need full sun. Plant "Mammoth" seeds early, as soon as frost danger is past to give them plenty of growing time to reach their largest size. Direct sow rather than starting them early in pots -- sunflowers send down long tap roots early in life. Plant five to six seeds together with seed clumps about 6 to 8 inches apart. When seedlings reach 3 to 4 inches tall, thin to the biggest three. At two-week intervals, remove the smallest seedling, leaving just the sturdiest plant of the original clump to grow.

The Coin on the top of the flower is a 20 cent piece to show the massive size!

There is a photo that shows my other sunflowers below to show the height difference ( they’re pollen-less so no cross pollination happening)

Packaging: All our seeds are sent in small zip lock bags to make postage more economical. They have a sticker label with basic germination instructions and are posted in a padded bubble mailer to protect seeds.
