My "Shungite Necklace Collection" is created using 100% natural Shungite beads imported directly from Russia. I have been working with the same company from Karelia Russia for over 13 years now, all the Shungite used to create my jewelry is Natural, Genuine and Certified. For all my Shungite Jewelry Collection, the main stone on each necklace is always Shungite, then secondary stones have been selected by me for their powerful, protective, and beneficial metaphysical properties. DESCRIPTION: For this design I selected Shungite, Peruvian Amazonite, Red Jasper, and Russian Amazonite as a focal piece. Combining some of my favorite crystals to combat the negative effects of EMF's, and electromagnetic smog. These crystals are overall excellent protection crystals, along their many other metaphysical properties. Please see below.

SIZE: I created this necklace using a extension chain so the length can go from 20" to 24"
BEAD SIZE: Shungite beads are 6mm, the Amazonite beads are 6mm, the Red Jasper Tube bead are 12x8mm and the Amazonite focal piece is 18x5mm.
METAL FINDINGS: I prefer to work with 925 Sterling Silver when making jewelry, but I also love and use sometimes 304 Stainless Steel for it's durability and resistance to tarnish. Making your jewelry pieces not just beautiful but also long lasting! This particular design have 925 sterling silver spacers beads and a 304 Stainless Steel lobster clasp with extension chain. For this necklace I selected Fine Silver Heishi Nugget Beads and 925 Sterling Silver Round Beads.

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: it is very important for you to read this part IF you are new to Shungite and are not well versed on the types of Shungite or the way Natural Shungite looks, please read this in full before purchasing. I have to explain this because there is clearly some confusion among people who is not very knowledgeable about Shungite, so this educational information is for you. Please know that there are three (3) types of Shungite, you can read more about the three types of Shungite.
1- TYPE I: Elite Noble Shungite also known as Silver Shungite.
2- TYPE II: Black Shungite
3- TYPE III: Petrosky Shungite
MOST Shungite Jewelry is made using the Type II Black Shungite, however when you look at the stones, they can have and display traces of Elite Noble Shungite (also knows as Silver Shungite) within the same stone and it can also, may also contain some Pyrite (another metallic looking mineral) that can be found within Shungite stones. Therefore some Shungite beads may have what it looks like "silvery/metallic" lines or spots, this is NORMAL and the way real genuine Shungite looks. I have added a couple of images of me holding a bracelet and specifically showing some of the Shugnite beads that clearly display some of the "metallic/silver" spots/lines to better show you what I'm explaining here, because I had some customers that are new to Shungite contacting me thinking, that the beads are painted because of the "metallic" spots or lines that can be found on some beads. This is NOT paint but the way real Shungite looks and those stripes are traces of Elite Noble Shungite or Pyrite in them.
Also please make sure to check the video I have created on how to test for real Shungite (regardless of where you buy it from) so you can test your Shungite and make sure is real. Hope this information be of help to you and clarify any confusion among those not familiar with Shungite;-)
WHY SHUNGITE FOR JEWELRY IS GOOD: Wearing Shungite jewelry is the easier and best way to protect yourself from the damaging Electromagnetic Radiation from electronics. Shungite is an ancient rock formation, a natural mineral of unusual composition and structure. It has unique properties and is extracted in Karelia near the small settlement called Shunga. Hence the name shungite. From the old times, the local residents have been aware of shungite mysterious "great power" or black "slate stone"(as it was known in the old days), similar to coal and healing many illnesses and purifying water in the area.
Shungite is a natural mineral with the crystal lattice or grid organized in a certain way, the basis of which is carbon. As we know, carbon is the basis of life on the Earth. Modern scholars view the emergence of life on our planet as a complex process of evolution of carbon compounds.
