1957 TEA AND SYMPATHY Robert Anderson ANNOTATED Tim Seely, Elizabeth Sellars

Programme for Tea and Sympathy by Robert Anderson at Comedy Theatre - 1957 - 14th May 1957 - date written on the front cover

Presented by the New Watergate Theatre Club - an organisation founded to allow performance of plays surpressed by the Lord Chamberlain - as this play was due to its references to homosexuality, which was at this time illegal in Britain.

The programme has been charmingly annotated by the original owner - the annotation reads (as far as I can work out): “With Cynthia Lamb. Excellent play, finely acted. Dined after at Coq dOr (very expensive!)."

Director: John Fernald

Featuring: Tim Seely, Elizabeth Sellars, John Glen, Hy Hazell, Aubrey Woods, Keith Baxter, George Roubicek, Ian Keill, Henley Thomas, John McLaren

The programme measures 18 x 12.5cm and has 8 pages

Condition: The programme has been ANNOTATED ON THE FRONT COVER. Apart from this the programme is in good second-hand vintage condition, showing reading wear and minor creasing. The programme pictured is the one you will receive.

I accept returns, and if you would like any further information - just ask!
