Many other listings will show single sleeper benches which is an option which will obviously reduce cost but will undoubtedly be to the detriment of your comfort, stability and enjoyment of the furniture. If you opt for backed benches with your set then the backs and supports are all made with sleeper timbers to continue the same look and feel throughout. All of the timber used in the construction of the furniture is tanalised meaning that this furniture really will last you a lifetime. Going to the extra effort and cost of having the timber pressure treated means it is protected against the elements for well over 10 years. A considerable amount of garden furniture on the market these days is made to last for as little as three or four years, this means our product is likely to last for at least 3 - 4 times as long meaning less strain on your wallet as well as the planets natural resources. As timber is a natural resource it will develop with age and cracks and movement may appear or disappear over time, this is completely normal. The set comes unpainted as shown in the pictures but could be oiled, stained, painted or left to age naturally, the choice really is yours.
