This 7" by 8 1/2" uncolored map is from A New Historical and Commercial Grammar, by William Guthrie, dated 1795. The map is titled "Poland showing the claims of Russia, Prussia and Austria, from the best authorities." The shaded areas of the map, on the west and east, show the territories annexed to the claimants by the Mandate published March 25, 1790. The Great Duchy of Lithuania is clearly identified, part of contested lands. The title page pictured in the photos is NOT INCLUDED IN THE SALE. I have included a xerox of it with the map so the buyer has a reference as to the source of the map. The creases are the original folds from the book.
