Vintage maghogany frame sofa settee - engraved wood arms, recently upholstered.

This sofa was inherited from friends, who originally bought the item in Scotland.

The original upholstery and springing had collapsed, and this has been restored about five years ago at around £700. From the last photo you can see how the underside is fresh and taught (not sagging).

It's hardly been used since then, and we will eventually convert the room it's in into an office, so we're making room, though we're not in a rush.

The measurements in cm are 218cm wide, 70cm deep, 86cm high.

The seat hight is 42cm (16 1/2 inches).

The seating is a bit upright, resulting in a sofa that can fit into narrower spaces. The seating is comfortable, but can't compete with a big deep plush sofa.

For a generous width sofa it's easier than most to maneuvre into rooms.

The matching roll cushions are included, but not the throw from the first picture.

Collection only, due to size & weight.
