The aroma of boiling maple syrup in our shop is heavenly. If you close your eyes, you can imagine yourself standing in a Vermont maple sugar house in the springtime. We simmer select pure Vermont maple syrup, and as it cools we hand stir and pour it into maple leaf shaped candy molds. Our unique maple candy process is a bit of a trade secret, but we can say that we produce it the old-fashioned way, just like our grandparents did, without the use of candy machines.
We crystal coat our candy in pure maple syrup to lock in the
freshness. It's no small coincidence that it turns out softer than
others and melts in your mouth.
Why is our candy the best? We've made over 200,000 pounds of pure
maple sugar candy and every batch was only 10 pounds and hand stirred.
These extremely small batches give us more control over process and
quality. Our confectioners are alchemists, transforming select maple
syrup from our sugar bush into the award-winning maple candy that has
made us so famous. Pure Vermont maple candy, the way it is supposed to
be.
