Suica card is a transportation IC card issued by JR(Japan Railways) East.

The Suica card with the round watermelon ("suika" in Japanese) logo is the earliest Suica card.

This card was issued to commemorate the start of use of Monorail Suica in 2002.

Green is the image color of JR East and yellow is the image color of Tokyo Monorail.

There are now two penguins.

This card can be used to take the train, but cannot be used for shopping at convenience stores, etc. because of its old specifications.

We have checked every Suica multiple times to make sure they are in good working order or not.

A "new" card becomes unusable after 10 years of non-use.
