The History of Rock magazine came out in 1982. It was a weekly part-work magazine published by Orbis which looked into the 'history' of rock, examining various artists, recording studios and background to the music. With good, detailed information backed up excellent photographs, these magazines are great fun!

In this issue:
  • Blues Power - How the blues survived and thrived in the Sixties
  • Lightnin’ Strikes - The Southern downhome sounds of Lightnin’ Hopkins
  • King of the Blues - B.B. King was a founding father of Sixties R&B
  • Steppin’ Out - John Mayall’s hard road to fame and fortune
  • On the Road Again - Canned Heat: bears, blind owls and blues
  • Fleetwood Mac - Take One - The first incarnation of a rock institution

The magazine has around 20 pages.

Condition: The magazine is in very good condition but has been read and has some minor creasing and light reading wear. The magazine pictured below is the one you will receive.

I accept returns. Finally if you'd like to see further pictures or any questions, just ask!
