Good value set of 26" disc brake wheels for everyday use or an upgrade for a cheaper MTB. 

Rims are made by Halo. 26mm outer width with 21mm inner width. Disc brake only. Suitable for MTB tyre sizes between 1.9" and 2,25" and Gravel and road bike tyres which use pressures up to 70psi (32mm or wider).  Presta valve tubes will fit and the rim can be used tubeless if desired.. 

Hubs are either Shimano Deore M6000 centrelock or Shimano M525 6 bolt disc in black. MTB standard 100mm wide front hub and 135mm wide rear hub. Suitable for 8-11 speed MTB cassettes and 8-10 speed road cassettes. Can also be used with a 7 speed cassette with a additional spacer. A straightforward rugged hub which can be user serviced with simple tools. 

Lightweight and thru axle hubs available as options.

The wheels come with Shimano quick release (QR) fixings included if QR hubs are required

The 32 spokes are high quality Italian made silver ACI Alpina double butted type. Double butted spokes are both lighter and stronger than standard plain gauge spokes. Made from 100% stainless steel and fastened with solid brass nipples. 

The wheels are built using a 3x (3 cross) pattern which is the best compromise between strength without excess weight.

Total wheelset weight is a pretty decent 1800g with the centrelock QR hubs but this will vary with option choices.

All our wheels are handbuilt to the same high standards. Rims are true to +or- 0.2mm and spokes uniformly tensioned to within 10%.
