New note: apparently this power supply (1000V option without the anode resistor) can be used to drive 100MOhm PMTs

Hi, the item is arrived today, very fast delivery. The module was exactly set to 1000V as you write. With 100 MOhm NaI scintillator probe the voltage drop is between 1 to 2 V. Very good. As comparison theremino with same probe drop of 30V. I haven't do a long test about voltage stability but in short time seems to be very good to. ... ... Anyway congrats for your power supply. IMEX-38-56-1 is an adjustable high voltage generator module for Geiger-Müller tubes.
The module is for use in geiger counters and dosimeters where portability, small size, very low power consumption and stability is required.

supply voltage: 3-6.5V
High voltage: <400 to >550V (<700 to >1000V custom range possible on request) adjustable with a 24 turn trimmer potentiometer. Practically all popular western and russian-made Geiger-Müller tubes are supported. Current limiting 5M1 resistor is already installed (for most Geiger-Müller tubes of Russian origin).
Low quiescent (standby) current: < 10μA (at 400V setting/no load typical average quiescent current is 7μA)
Low ripple: 1 to 5V (usually 1V)

In the below graph a dependency of the output voltage on constant load current is provided for when the device is preset for 400V and powered from 5V power source.
To correctly estimate the power of the HV generator, measurement was taken with the serial, output 5,1MΩ current limiting resistor removed.
Micro-ampermeter with a very low (10μV/1μA burden voltage) was used to do the measurement so the graph is rather precise.
The continuous load current where the voltage begins to drop below 397V is 107,8μA while one section geiger tube pulse (noncontiguous) currents are usually in magnitude of 1 to 3μA.
Multi-section pancake geiger tubes are accommodated well too i.e. SBT11 ( which has 4 sections ) has a combined current specified at min. 4μA and max. 11μA or
a 10-section SBT10 pancake tube pulse current of one section is min. 0.3μA to max. 1,5μA. It means that at the maximum specified count rate these tubes shall be correctly powered with the at the nominal working voltage without compromise.
On the shipping device the 5,1MΩ resistor is installed by default as geiger tubes usually need such resistor with its values starting form around 5,1MΩ.
Therefore if for reasons of you intended use you would like the device without the above mentioned resistor please let me know during purchase.
