This print was created as the invitation for Keith Haring's memorial service which took place at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in Manhattan. Haring died in 1990 from AIDS. Many fellow artists and prominent New Yorker's attended the service. The actor Dennis Hopper described Haring's work on the subways, ''Keith attacked the subway walls with the fierceness of a gunfighter or samurai warrior."
