267 Batmobile
I have up for auction is this all original Corgi Batmobile – an early first gloss
edition, correct with no tow hook, in gleaming black! It comes with its
original box, inner plinth, full envelope and all three original packing pieces
The model is immaculate, hard to imagine a better gloss and more perfect paintwork on any model. It genuinely gleams. The chrome tubes and cockpit trim are perfect and there is full chrome coverage of the cockpit dashboard. The blue tinted canopy is undamaged. Batman and Robin are in their seats. Bright bat logos on the wheels and complete and bright Bat logos at both sides of the model. The aerial is intact. The suspension front and back has still it bounce. No cracks to the tyres, chain works well, and I strongly believe the tubes have never been fired!!! It is a beauty – they do not often come along this good.
It comes in
its original box with its inner display podium and accessories. It has all
inner and outer flaps attached, but strengthen with tape The outer box artwork is
slightly dulled and slightly grubby. Light storage wear mostly at one end, with three small corner tears.
The inner plinth again is bright and vibrant – lovely and clean, end tabs both firmly attached. The brown support card is inside
the tray. Also, in the tray is the Instructions envelope. This has a full
complement of Instructions, unused cloth badge still on its backing and a full
sprue of yellow rockets.
It comes with its original white surround card, ring and brown packing pieces – tape marks but no tape present on white cardboard piece.
